Ticket sales for Saturday’s home game against Pacific Northwest rival Vancouver have passed 50,000, according to a Sounders FC spokesman. More sections of CenturyLink Field will be open, obviously, the first of four such games this season.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (changed from 1 p.m.) and there will be temporary grass installed ahead of Tuesday’s FIFA World Cup qualifier between the U.S. men’s national team and Panama. Tickets are available through SoundersFC.com, all Ticketmaster 0utlets, the CenturyLink Field box office or by calling 800-745-3000.

The USMNT should be in attendance actually, as the team is set to arrive late Saturday afternoon.

Here is a look at the biggest MLS crowds the Sounders have had:

66,452 — vs. Portland, W 3-0 (10/7/2012)
64,140 — vs. San Jose, W 2-1 (10/15/2011)
60,908 — vs. LA Galaxy, W 4-0 (8/5/2012)
55,718 — vs. Vancouver, W 2-0 (8/18/2012)
46,932 — vs. Kansas City, D 1-1 (6/20/2012)
46,065 — vs. New York, W 4-2 (6/23/2011)
44,575 — vs. LA Galaxy, W 2-1 (11/18/2012)
40,150 — vs. Portland, D 1-1 (3/16/2013)

As you’ll see, Seattle is 4-0 with a goal differential of 11-1 in front of crowds larger than 50,000.
