Sounders FC jumped up to fourth in the Western Conference last weekend with a home win over Vancouver (standings above).
Seattle is also assured of staying in a playoff position at the start of next week, too — despite a bye — as Colorado is the only team in action over the weekend that can leapfrog the Sounders in the West.
Here is the schedule for Saturday:
Portland Timbers vs. FC Dallas, 5 p.m. (ESPN)
D.C. United vs. Toronto FC, 7 p.m.
Columbus Crew vs. Montreal Impact, 7:30 p.m.
Colorado Rapids vs. San Jose Earthquakes, 9 p.m.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs. New England Revolution, 10 p.m.
Believe it or not, Seattle can match a franchise-best record through 14 games with a win in its next game, on the road at Real Salt Lake on June 22.
What do you make of the Sounders position as we turn out focus back to MLS?
