U.S. Open Cup semifinal field set
UPDATE 8:30 p.m. — Scores have been updated within this post. Chicago will host D.C. United and Real Salt Lake will host Portland in Aug. 7 semifinals. It’s an all-MLS final four. The final will be Oct. 1 or 2 and the draw for those hosting rights will be held at a to-be-determined date.

Sounders FC has long been eliminated from the U.S. Open Cup, but the tournament continues on with the quarterfinal round Wednesday.
Here is a look at the schedule:
New England Revolution (MLS) 1-3 D.C. United (MLS)
Orlando City SC (USL PRO) 1-5 Chicago Fire (MLS)
Portland Timbers (MLS) 3-2 Dallas (MLS)
Carolina RailHawks (NASL) 0-3 Real Salt Lake (MLS)
The winner of the Chicago-Orlando City quarterfinal will host the winner of the New England-D.C. United quarterfinal. The winner of the Real Salt Lake-Carolina quarterfinal will host the Portland-Dallas winner. The semifinals will be played Aug. 7 (and here is some insight into the draw for that round).
