The report hasn’t changed from Sounders FC’s midweek game against D.C. United, but some of the details have. Alonso and defender DeAndre Yedlin (separated shoulder) will both travel to Vancouver but will be game-time decisions, according to coach Sigi Schmid.

Forward/midfielder Lamar Neagle, who is coming back from a hip flexor, is still training in full coming off his substitute appearance against D.C., so he should be good to go.

Seattle will actually travel with a group of 20, as opposed to the regular 18, to account for some of the uncertainty with Alonso and Yedlin. A quick turnaround will factor into the lineup, as well.

“We’ll see what the situation is and what changes we want to make,” Schmid said. “Some guys recover a little bit better than others, some guys put a little more into the game, so there will be probably be a couple of lineup changes, but those are for me right now.”

A couple of Vancouver’s injuries are at center back, a position Schmid said the Sounders will look to attack. O’Brien suffered his hamstring strain last month in Seattle, which also coincided with the Whitecaps blowing a second-half lead.
