Sounders FC’s Andrew Weber up for MLS Save of the Week (Wednesday links)
Sounders FC goalkeeper Andrew Weber, just a few minutes after coming on as an injury replacement, just a few days after being acquired on loan, came up with an MLS Save of the Week nominee Saturday against San Jose.

— Lastly, it looks Herculez Gomez is leaving the USMNT for the Gold Cup knockout rounds. The federation can make up to four changes, which might include the addition of Eddie Johnson and/or Brad Evans, and those are expected to be announced Thursday morning.
