Sounders FC 2, Chivas USA 1, video highlights and postgame notes

Highlights from Sounders FC’s 2-1 comeback Sunday against Chivas USA are posted above, and here are some postgame notes as Seattle broke a three-game winless streak:

— Sounders FC has matched a franchise record with an eight-game home unbeaten streak (5-0-3).
— Sounders FC earned its first win of the season after allowing the first goal of the game (1-7-1). The team’s previous such win was Sept. 8, also at home against Chivas USA, also by a 2-1 score.
— Sounders FC is unbeaten against Chivas USA since 2009, a 8-0-4 run that includes two U.S. Open Cup wins.
— Sounders FC, in MLS, has won four straight against the Goats, five of six and six of eight.
— Sounders FC is 4-0-1 with Obafemi Martins and Lamar Neagle starting up front with four goals and five assists from the duo, combined.
— If July was supposed to be a big month, a 2-2-1 record will have to do.
— Lamar Neagle last scored June 8 to cap a comeback win at home against Vancouver.
— Lamar Neagle matched a career-high with five goals, established a personal best with 13 points.
— Brad Evans scored his first MLS goal since March 30.
— Mauro Rosales’ drought without a goal or assist ended at 604 minutes, and Sounders FC is 20-2-7 when he gets one or the other.
— Mauro Rosales’ 30 assists move him one closer to Fredy Montero’s franchise record of 34.
— Obafemi Martins had his first two-assist game in MLS. The Sounders are 7-0-0 when he factors into a scoring play.
— Obafemi Martins has had a goal or assist in seven of the Sounders’ eight wins this season.
— Andrew Weber earned his first MLS win with the Sounders.
— Chivas USA is 1-7-3 on the road with a 9-21 goal difference.
— Chivas USA is on a nine-game winless streak on the road.
— Chivas USA fell to 3-3-2 this season when scoring first.
— Erick Torres scored his second goal in as many games with Chivas USA.
