Jimmy Fallon jokes at DeAndre Yedlin’s expense, leaving the Sounder laughing hard

TV host Jimmy Fallon had a fun bit Tuesday night involving MLS All-Stars and what designation they might get in a high-school yearbook (e.g. most likely to succeed, but with a twist).

Sounders FC’s DeAndre Yedlin was deemed “Most likely to have the nickname ‘Rihanna.'”

I asked him Wednesday if he had anything to say to Fallon as a result.

“Oh no, that was funny,” Sounders FC’s right back said. “I watched the YouTube video of it. Yeah, I was laughing pretty hard. That was a good one.”

Yedlin said he’s taking that honor with pride and that the clip hasn’t quite caught up with him in the locker room. And what did he think of the others in the clip?

“I think the funniest one for me was Will Johnson’s,” said Yedlin, a 20-year-old Seattle native. “I don’t know. I think the pictures really said it all. They were hilarious.”
