Sounders FC vs. Houston, injury report

SOUNDERS FCOUT: M Steve Zakuani (sports hernia surgery), M Alex Caskey (R ankle impingement), GK Josh Ford (R patella fracture), M Philip Lund (R plantar fasciitis). QUESTIONABLE: F Obafemi Martins (L ankle sprain).

HOUSTON DYNAMOOUT: F Omar Cummings (L knee MCL sprain), GK Tyler Deric (R thumb fracture). QUESTIONABLE: F Calen Carr (L knee), M Andrew Driver (R Achilles tendonitis), M Alex Dixon (L hamstring strain), M Boniek Garcia (R abdominal strain).

It’s not very often the Sounders aren’t the team more affected by injury, but there you go. Obafemi Martins won’t be available for the game, as he explained Friday on Twitter (posted below).

Steve Zakuani had what was essentially his first full practice earlier this week and Philip Lund tweeted that he is also back in training. Alex Caskey doesn’t look to be far off, either.
