Sounders FC 2, Chicago 1, video highlights and postgame notes

Posted above are the video highlights from Sounders FC’s 2-1 comeback win Saturday against the Chicago Fire. Here are some postgame notes:

— Sounders FC’s 46 points with a 14-8-4 record is a team best through 26 games.
— Sounders FC has won four games in a row (tied for longest in MLS this season) and seven of their last eight (which the team had never done before in a single season).
— Sounders FC is on a 9-0-3 run at home, including five-straight wins.
— Sounders FC’s 12-game home unbeaten run has matched the longest this year in MLS.
— Sounders FC’s PPG is up to 1.77, best in MLS.
— Sounders FC’s season-best shutout streak ended at 310 minutes, fourth-longest in MLS this year and fifth-longest in team history.
— Sounders FC is 2-8-1 this season when allowing the first goal but 2-1-1 in the last four instances.
— Sounders FC is 5-2-2 against the East and 4-1-2 when tied at halftime.
— Lamar Neagle’s seventh goal this season only increased a career high.
— Lamar Neagle is tied for the team lead in MLS goals (7) and goals in all competitions (8).
— Lamar Neagle’s goal broke the team’s 439-minute drought from the run of the play since the last four goals were off free kicks.
— Lamar Neagle’s 12 goals rank sixth in team history.
— Marc Burch has assists in back-to-back games (both to Neagle) and has three assists in his last four games. The three assists matches a personal best in a season.
— Leo Gonzalez is on yellow card warning after a 70th-minute caution.
— Osvaldo Alonso missed the team’s first PK in five tries, dating to 2011. Alonso in 1 for 2 in MLS.
— Brad Evans is 6 for 6 from the spot and the rest of the Sounders are a combined 5 for 12 in MLS.
— This marked the third time the Sounders have earned nine points in eight days.
— Chicago remains the only team that hasn’t beaten Seattle (0-5-3 MLS, 0-1 Open Cup)
— Chicago has never scored more than one goal against Seattle.
— Chicago fell to 2-7-3 on the road, 2-4-2 vs. the West.
— Chicago is now 6-1-1 when scoring first this season.
— Mike Magee scored his 15th goal, tied for the MLS lead.
