My MLS power rankings — Week 29

Here are other MLS power rankings from around the league, where you’ll notice the Sounders are also No. 1 in nearly every other publication: ESPN.com, SI.com, ProSoccerTalk, MLSsoccer.com and Soccer America.

11. New England (10) Federal Way’s Kelyn Rowe is red-hot with either a goal or assist in his last five games
12. Houston (14) Has scored 34 percent of its goals this season (11 of 32) in the final 15 minutes of games
13. San Jose (11) Improved its home unbeaten streak to 14 games, but really needed to beat the Whitecaps
14. Philadelphia (12) Michael Lahoud returned to Sierra Leone after 21 years to play a World Cup qualifier
15. Vancouver (15) Jay DeMerit is back for the first time since an Achilles’ rupture eight minutes into the year
16. Columbus (16) Kept its playoff hopes alive, just barely, with a big win on the road against the Impact
17. Chivas USA (17) Late-season spoiler has taken points from Portland, Vancouver and N.Y. in recent weeks
18. Toronto FC (18) Joined in 2007, but could end this year as the only team to have never made the playoffs
19. D.C. United (19) Never would’ve thought DeRo, Pontius would only have five combined goals at this point
