Sounders suffer two of their worst defeats in span of five days

I didn’t think I’d have to bring back this chart so soon, but Sounders FC — once again — suffered one of its worst defeats Wednesday in a 4-1 home loss to rival Vancouver.

The chart posted below shows Seattle has had two of its worst league performances in the past five days; three of the six worst regular-season games have come this season.

Four goals allowed at home matches a team record. Nine goals allowed in two games is by far a record.

The empty seats at the game of the Whitecaps game, not to mention some uncharacteristic boos at the final whistle, told it all, I think.
