Sounders FC

Daily coverage of Seattle Sounders FC, MLS and world soccer.

October 18, 2013 at 7:55 AM

Sounders hoping to continue their good run against FC Dallas

Opponent Games Winning % Record Goal diff. (scored/against)
Chicago 8 .813 5-0-3 +5 (10/5)
Kansas City 8 .813 6-1-1 +5 (11/6)
Toronto 8 .813 6-1-1 +8 (14/6)
Colorado 12 .750 8-2-2 +5 (20/15)
FC Dallas 11 .727 6-1-4 +10 (20/10)

Posted above is a chart provided by the team that shows which MLS teams the Sounders have fared best against over the years.

FC Dallas, one of those consistent victims, has never beaten Seattle at home (0-2-3), one of four teams in that category (Chicago, Columbus and Sporting Kansas City). Twenty goals scored for the Sounders are tied for the most against any opponent and a plus-10 goal differential is most lopsided of all the head-to-head matchups.

Seattle has a six-game unbeaten streak in the series (5-0-1) and three straight wins, including a 4-2 win on May 18 and 3-0 win on Aug. 3 after the Clint Dempsey unveiling.

Here is a look at history game by game with the home team listed first…
