Here are some notes from the team and the league:
— Reign FC will open the NWSL schedule on a three-game home stand, starting April 13 against the Boston Breakers at Memorial Stadium, a day after the league’s first games.
— Preseason includes a trip to the University of Portland, where seven Reign players have ties. Details on the home exhibition against Seattle Pacific will be announced at a later date.
— Seattle hosts reigning champion Thorns FC just once: Sunday, July 27. The regular-season finale is at Portland on Sunday, Aug. 17.
— The full NWSL schedule can be seen here. Broadcast information will be released later.
— Each team plays 24 games (12 home, 12 away) over 19 weeks, with an emphasis on playing on weekends and holidays. The regular season concludes Aug. 17, with every team hosting at least one game in August and no team traveling outside of its time zone for the final week.
— The top four teams qualify for the playoffs and compete in the semifinals on Aug. 23-24. The final will be played on weekend of Aug. 30-31.
