The University of Washington men’s soccer team has seen great success under coach Jamie Clark, advancing to its first-ever NCAA quarterfinal this past season, so perhaps it is no surprise the school has rewarded him with a new four-year deal.
Clark is now under contract through Dec. 31, 2017.
“This would be more than ideal if this is where I end up staying for the rest of my career. And that’s the goal,” he told GoHuskies.com.
The Huskies have gone 41-11-5 in three seasons under Clark. In the linked story, he mentioned a connection with the Sounders as one of the unique parts about the job.
