You might be familiar with the No Equal Amber Lager, a beer collaboration between the Emerald City Supporters and Redhook Brewery released two years ago. Well, the team is at it again, and the latest product is the No Equal Blonde.
The American blonde ale will be available on draft all season and in 12-ounce bottles until August. It will be released in Washington, with limited distribution in Oregon and Idaho.
Here are some quotes from the news release:
“The Emerald City Supporters are proud to enter a third year in our partnership with Redhook by brewing No Equal Blonde. We know that soccer fans in Seattle and Cascadia are going to love the beer, especially while supporting Seattle Sounders FC.” — Greg Mockos, ECS co-president
“To brew another great beer with the Emerald City Supporters, we knew it needed to quench the thirst of Sounders fans for the full 90. This time, we aimed for an American blonde ale and used traditional Northwest hop varieties, pale and crystal malts, and malted wheat for a balanced beer with rich malt character and a bright, clean finish.” — Nick Crandall, Redhook brewer
