Sounders FC vs. Sporting KC, injury report

SOUNDERS FCOUT: F/M Tristan Bowen (R quad strain). QUESTIONABLE: None.

SPORTING KANSAS CITYOUT: None. QUESTIONABLE: M Paulo Nagamura (L ankle sprain), D Chance Myers (R groin strain), D Seth Sinovic (R hip sprain).

The health update from Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid today looked pretty similar to what is posted above: “The only guy who’s out because of health reasons is Tristan Bowen. Everybody else is available.”

One other potential concern is Leo Gonzalez, who is in the final stage of recovery from offseason groin surgery. So how is he doing?

“With Leo, he’s very, very close,” Schmid said. “I think it’s a question of him getting 90 minutes in at some point and also feeling really comfortable going into full-out tackles and things like that, because that’s a big part of Leo’s game. But I spoke to Leo today; he’s getting there.”
