The latest episode of MLSsoccer.com’s Instant Replay is out, and there weren’t many controversial plays to look at in Sunday’s game between the Sounders and Montreal. The lone play singled out by host Simon Borg came in the second half when the Impact might have had a shout for a penalty kick (start at the 0:44 mark in the clip below).
Seattle’s Djimi Traore had the tackle on Montreal’s Felipe at the edge of the penalty box. Whether a legitimate foul was committed and where the alleged foul occurred (inside or outside the box) could be up for debate. A PK, of course, might’ve allowed the host to cut the deficit in half and had 30 minutes to look for an equalizer.
What do you make of the non-call?
