— Only 10 players remain from last season. The coaching staff returns in tact, though, as coach and general manager Laura Harvey got a four-year contract in the offseason. Sam Laity is assistant coach and former Sounder Ben Dragavon is goalkeeper coach.

— Top newcomers are USWNT star Sydney Leroux at forward, Scottish international midfielder Kim Little (formerly of Arsenal), and Japanese international forward NahomiNahoKawasumi.

— Seattle signed two of its three draft picks: defender Amanda Frisbie (seventh overall out of the University of Portland) and defender Megan Brigman (17th overall out of the University of North Carolina).
