I wrote a story for Wednesday’s paper on how the Sounders, who crumbled under adversity at the end of last year, are thriving in tough situations this season. The piece included a chart that I wanted to share here.
As you can see, the two wins after conceding the first goal are already tied for second best in team history. The seven points from losing positions has already matched the total in 2010.
Is it sustainable? Like I said in the story: maybe, maybe not. Ideally, it won’t have to be.
