The big news for Seattle is midfielders Brad Evans (calf) and Andy Rose (hamstring) are no longer listed. There replaced, of course, by left back Leo Gonzalez, who has picked up a hamstring strain.

Here was the update from coach Sigi Schmid: “He’s got a little bit of a hamstring tweak, so for him, this weekend is up in the air still. He’s gotten a lot better so we wanted him just to go into the gym today and see how he is. We’ll have to see. It’s touch and go for Saturday.”

On the other end, ex-Sounder Marc Burch is also dealing with a hamstring injury, so we’ll see if he’s able to go. One Rapid not listed here but recovering from injury is reigning Rookie of the Year, midfielder Dillon Powers, with lower leg soreness.

Something to keep an eye on.
