Sounders FC vs. Colorado, pregame

Welcome back to CenturyLink Field. It’s been a while, huh? Four weeks to be exact, and the Sounders haven’t lost since then.

And, hey look! A new scoreboard with in-game stats!

Seattle is looking to avoid the first three-game home losing streak in franchise history, something I wrote about for Saturday’s paper. The Sounders are also looking for their ninth win against Colorado (which would be their most against an MLS opponent) and stay unbeaten in April since 2010.

Defender Leo Gonzalez isn’t expected to be available today with a hamstring strain. Midfielder Brad Evans should be good to go, so we’ll see if he gets his first start since Week 2.

Rapids midfielder Dillon Powers, the reigning MLS Rookie of the Year, is an injury concern for the visitors with lower leg soreness.

I’ll post lineups here when they become available.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Stefan Frei, D DeAndre Yedlin, D Chad Marshall, D Djimi Traore, D Dylan Remick, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Gonzalo Pineda, M Lamar Neagle, M Marco Pappa, F Obafemi Martins, F Clint Dempsey (captain)

Sounders FC bench: GK Marcus Hahnemann, D Zach Scott, D Jalil Anibaba, M Andy Rose, M Brad Evans, F Chad Barrett, F Kenny Cooper
