Sounders FC vs. Philadelphia, pregame

Welcome to a wet CenturyLink Field, where the Sounders host the Philadelphia Union at 7 p.m. tonight looking for a fourth straight win.

philly home 2014

This marks the midpoint of a three-game home stand for Seattle, which wraps up Wednesday against FC Dallas.

The Union (1-3-5) comes in on a seven-game winless streak having not won on the road this season. There is a local connection on the Philadelphia roster with ex-Sounder Sebastien Le Toux on the squad, but he hasn’t played a significant role in either of the last two games.

The Sounders (5-2-1) are expected to have the full services of Brad Evans, who hasn’t started since Week 2 against Toronto. An expected absence, though, is defender Leo Gonzalez, who is recovering from a hamstring injury.

I’ll post lineups below when they become available.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Stefan Frei, D DeAndre Yedlin, D Chad Marshall, D Djimi Traore, D Dylan Remick, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Gonzalo Pineda, M Lamar Neagle, M Brad Evans, F Obafemi Martins, F Clint Dempsey

Sounders FC bench: GK Marcus Hahnemann, D Zach Scott, D Jalil Anibaba, M Andy Rose, M Marco Pappa, F Chad Barrett, F Kenny Cooper

Notes: This is nine lineups in nine games for the Sounders. Brad Evans returns to the lineup, making his first start since Week 2 (replacing Marco Pappa). Ex-Sounder Sebastien Le Toux starts for the visitors.
