For the Sounders, Dylan Remick isn’t expected to be available with the sprained ankle and coach Sigi Schmid wasn’t tipping his hand regarding fellow left back Leo Gonzalez, who is finalizing his recovery from a hamstring strain.

Here was Schmid’s update on Gonzalez after Tuesday’s practice: “He got through training yesterday fine and was fine today, so we’ll make a decision.”

For Dallas, local product George John (Shoreline native and UW product) is one of a few players in doubt. Star midfielder Mauro Diaz isn’t expected to be available, and the team could make an announcement regarding the severity of his injury this week. Reports have indicated it might be serious.

Something else to be considered, Dallas midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson is suspended after getting a red card in Sunday’s game against New York.
