Final: Reign FC 3, Kansas City 2, live thread

Welcome to Memorial Stadium where it’s a perfect evening. Reign FC (6-0) will look to stay perfect, as well, hosting third-place FC Kansas City (3-3-1). Seattle’s Megan Rapinoe will be out for a sixth straight game due to a foot injury.

The visiting Blues feature forward Amy Rodriguez (a Seattle player in 2013 who missed the season to start a family) and midfielder Lauren Holiday (the 2013 NWSL MVP).

Final. Reign 3, KC 2. Seattle blows two-goal lead but battles back to keep it season perfect at 7-0, the longest win streak in NWSL history.

82′ — Attendance: 2,875.

76′ — GOAL REIGN FC! Keelin Winters heads in a perfect cross from Kiersten Dallstream to make it 3-2 Seattle.

68′ — Seattle sub: Foxhoven out, Nogueira in.

67′ — MISS! Little does very well to set up Goebel, but the shot is off target.

61′ — GOAL KC! Erika Tymrak with a thunderous strike in the upper corner to tie this game at 2-2!

57′ — KC sub: Bogus out, Tymrak in.

52′ — Yellow card to Jess Fishlock after breaking up an attack after her own turnover.

46′ — And we’re back.

Halftime. Reign 2, Kansas City 1. Visitors get a key goal just before the break. Seattle has still outscored teams 15-3 so far this season.

44′ — Goal KC! Lauren Holiday pulls a goal back for the visitors on a PK. Seattle lead down to 2-1.

33′ — Corner kick to Seattle, eventually leads to a Leroux header, but Barnhart has it.

29′ — Leroux and Barnhart collide, but the GK has it and is OK. Leroux has been more active these past few minutes.

20′ — Handball in the box was by Nia Williams. Little hammered it to Barnhart’s right.

19′ — GOAL REIGN FC! Kim Little puts away a PK to put Seattle up 2-0! Little is tied for the NWSL scoring lead with six goals.

17′ — Little free kick eventually fell to a wide-open Winters, whose shot was saved by Barnhart, but Fletcher put away the rebound. And capped it with a flip!

16′ — GOAL REIGN FC! Kendall Fletcher puts in a rebound to put Seattle up 1-0!

11′ — KC’s Buczkowski with a shot from distance but it’s off target.

9′ — Kansas City looks good so far. Best I’ve seen from a Reign opponent this season (though I didn’t go to the Portland game).

3′ — Fishlock with a shot from outside the box. Barnhart grabs it.

1′ — We are underway!

Pregame — I’ll post live updates here.
