Chicago is the only MLS team that has never beaten the Sounders

Sounders FC has one more assignment before the World Cup break in MLS: Saturday’s road game against the Chicago Fire.

In an odd bit of trivia, Chicago is the only team in the league that hasn’t beaten Seattle.

The Sounders boast a 6-0-3 record against the Fire in all competitions, including a win in the 2011 U.S. Open Cup final and wins in six of seven overall. Most of that damage has come in the form of four straight wins at home, but Seattle is still 2-0-2 at Toyota Park, including a 2-1 win in the last visit back on April 28, 2012.

Here is a look at the head-to-head history:

9/7/2013 Win 2-1 MLS Home
4/28/2012 Win 2-1 MLS Road
