Final: Reign FC 2, Boston Breakers 0

Final: Seattle improves to 10-0-2 with a 2-0 road win behind first-half goals from Bev Goebel and Keelin Winters.

Reign FC will put its undefeated record on the line tonight without several of its key players. Seattle, which plays the Boston Breakers on the road at 4 p.m., will take the field without U.S. internationals Hope Solo, Sydney Leroux and Stephanie Cox, as the USWNT is set to face France in a friendly. (Solo won’t play due to a family commitment.)

That’s not all. Top scorer and leading MVP candidate Kim Little is playing a World Cup qualifier for Scotland against Northern Ireland. Midfielder Jess Fishlock is playing a World Cup qualifier for Wales against Belarus. That’s five key starters.

The good news? Megan Rapinoe could be available is she completes her recovery from a foot injury that has had her unavailable since the opener. The team has also added amateur players Joana Houplin, Jamie Arthurs and Jen LaPonte to the roster.

Seattle is 9-0-2 on the season, with a healthy cushion in first place. Boston is last in the NWSL at 3-8-0, but is coming off its first shutout win of the year.

The Breakers will be without Heather O’Reilly (USWNT), midfielder Kristie Mewis (USWNT), and Lianne Sanderson (England)
