Going Insano at Beach Park

We had one free day in Fortaleza before heading out to Recife, and there was only one thing I had hoped to do before flying down to Brazil: Insano.

Insano, until recently, was the tallest water slide in the world at 135 feet and is located at Beach Park outside of Fortaleza.  See the link for more information: https://www.beachpark.com.br/home/en. The water park is apparently the largest in Latin America, and there are some spectacular views from the top of the various slides.

While Insano lived up to the name, the slides that stood out to me were the ones where you entered an enclosed pod and the bottom fell out like a trap door with the push of a button.   That feeling of falling was the best part and most unique.

We didn’t have a lot of time to spend out there, but for water park fans, it should be on your list.  Plus, after going to a water park in Durban, South Africa, we had to keep our World Cup tradition alive.
