It has been exactly 55 days since the Sounders won the second leg of the Western Conference finals but lost the series to the L.A. Galaxy on away goals.
55 days — for players, not much of a layover; for fans, for too long of a wait.
The Sounders opening training at Starfire Sports Complex this morning, training for less than a week in Seattle before heading to Southern California. They then return for a week before flying down to Arizona for the Desert Diamond Cup.
Seattle opens the 2015 Major League Soccer season on March 8 against New England at CenturyLink Field.
