Still want a Macklemore ticket?

If you’ve been wringing your hands because you forgot to get tickets for Macklemore’s (now sold-out) December  shows, you can stop whining and pull out that credit card. You’ve got one more chance. The Seattle rap phenom has added a third concert — count’em, three! — to his KeyArena run.

macklemoreSurfs2_3_0_1378341970Mack and his accomplice Ryan Lewis are now playing the Key Dec. 10 as well as the 11th and 12th. Tickets for the newly-booked Dec. 10 show will be available at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the KeyArena box office or from Ticketmaster (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).

So is this a record for the Key? Not by a long shot, says AEG/KeyArena facilitator Stevi Boskovich. That honor goes to country artist Garth Brooks, who did six nights back in 1998. But this is, indeed, says Boskovich, the first time since then that an artist has had three nights at KeyArena and it’s certainly the first time a Seattle act has turned this trick.

Way to go, Mack.
