Funky Fremont Solstice ads Built To Spill, Blue Scholars to music lineup

The rap duo Blue Scholars: Sabzi (right, real name Alexei Saba Mohajerjasbi) and Geologic (left, real name George Quibuyen).
The Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade has added a ticketed all-ages Solstice Concert Series to the June 20-21 celebration.
The annual event turns 43 this year and will feature music by Built to Spill on Friday and Seattle’s own Blue Scholars on Saturday.
Advance tickets are $20 for single-day entry and $35 for a two-day pass and available for purchase at Fremontfair.com.
Friday’s lineup:
The Young Evils – 5:30-6:15 p.m.
Tacocat – 6:45-7:30 p.m.
Campfire Ok – 8-9 p.m.
Built to Spill – 9:30-10:45 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup:
Cascadia ’10 – 5:30-6:15 p.m.
The Flavr Blue – 6:45 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The Physics – 8-9 p.m.
Blue Scholars – 9:30-10:45 p.m.
