Seattle’s Showbox Theater is celebrating 75 years as a music venue and will host Modest Mouse on July 18. Tickets, which cost $45-$50, will go on sale at noon on Friday, June 13 via www.showboxpresents.com. The event is all ages with a 21-and-over section as well.

Modest Mouse have not released a new album since 2007’s “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank,” but reportedly have been working with Outkast’s Big Boi on new songs as of April 2011.
