Starting in January Punchline Comedy Shows will be partnering with RooftopComedy.com to record the stand-up of over 50 regional comedians in the back bar at Jai Thai on Broadway. The recordings will be produced for potential use as official submissions to SiriusXM, Laughs (Syndicated on Fox), RooftopComedy.com or nationwide festivals. Shows are on Saturday and start at 9 p.m. Admission is free (seating is limited and guests are encouraged to arrive early).

Punchline Comedy Shows has been producing comedy at Jai Thai since 2010. It’s one of the longest running and independently produced comedy nights in Seattle and has become ground zero for Seattle’s alternative comedy scene. Punchline also produces a weekly open mic every Tuesday and every other Friday. On the weekends, the healthy crowd transforms the venue into a place where local comedians can get much-needed stage time to hone their craft.
