Owner robbed and beaten at Rainier Valley restaurant

A restaurant owner in South Seattle was tied up and beaten after two men robbed his restaurant in the 7100 Block of Rainier Avenue South on Wednesday night.

The owner told police that at as he was closing up around 7 p.m., two  men beat him and tied up his arms and legs before stealing cash and other items.

The men, one armed with a handgun, drove off in a tan or brown sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, he told police. He suffered a gash to his head, but no critical injuries.

Anyone with information should call the Seattle Police Robbery Unit at 206-684-5535.
