Decomposed body found in South Everett

There is not points to locate on the map

A badly decomposed body was found this afternoon in some brush off of Airport Road between Beverly Park Road and 112th Street Southwest in South Everett

The body was discovered shortly after 2 p.m. by a crew trimming brush near some power lines, according to Rebecca Hover, spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The body had been there for months and it wasn’t immediately known if it’s a man or woman, she said.

Detectives aren’t aware of a missing person case that could be linked to the body, Hover said.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death as well as identification.
