Man with toddler son carjacked in South Seattle

A South Seattle man was carjacked on Thursday after he and his 2-year-old son pulled into the driveway of their home.

The man told police that at around 9:30 p.m. two men wearing bandannas over their faces confronted them in the driveway of their home in the 6200 block of South Ryan Street, according to Seattle police. The man said that one of the suspects pointed a gun at him while demanding his silver 2002 Mercedes sedan.

The man was able to grab his son before the men took off in the vehicle; neither was injured, police said. The man ran inside and called for help.

Police are still looking for the man’s car,  a 2002 silver Mercedes C320 with the Washington license plate 701WTR.
