Pot-grow operation found in Rainier Valley residence

There is not points to locate on the map
A fire sparked by a high-intensity light inside a residence in Rainier Valley prompted a police investigation that uncovered a pot-growing operation.

After the fire broke out, an inspection of the power meter showed that power was being diverted to the residence, in the 6100 block of 47th Avenue South.

Narcotics detectives got a search warrant and found 324 marijuana plants, along with 25 light shields and 14 transformers.

Police seized the pot and fingerprinted the residents, who left the house and have not returned. Narcotics detectives are still investigating.
