Suspect arrested after cars struck in Sodo, Ballard

Seattle police arrested a man Saturday night in connection with two hit-and-run incidents in Ballard and SoDo that damaged at least 8 cars.

 Detective Mark Jamieson said the first reports of cars being struck occurred around 7:40 p.m. Saturday in SoDo, where four cars were hit before the driver left the scene.

Police were called again to the 2200 block of N.W. 59th Street in Ballard after the same driver hit at least four cars and tried to drive off, Jamieson said,

The man was arrested at the scene, taken to King County Jail and booked on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, Jamieson said.
