Suspect in two home-invasion robberies arrested

A 38 year-old transient from Auburn arrested Thursday is a suspect in  recent home invasion robberies near Silverdale, Kitsap County  and in the King County city of Pacific, police said.

Pacific police, with help from a Seattle police SWAT team, arrested the man during an investigation for a home-invasion robbery last Sunday in which the perpetrator threw an 83 year-old man to the ground, according to Pacific police.

When he was arrested, the man also had items stolen during a Kitsap County home-invasion robbery on Wednesday in which a 62 year-old female victim was robbed at gun point, assaulted and locked in a closet.

The man was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of robbery, assault and possession of stolen property related to the Pacific robbery, according to a news release from the Kitsap County Sheriff.

Charges related to the Kitsap County robbery are pending.
