The Morning Memo / Saturday: Walk the viaduct, wet weather and weekend football

Weather:  Looks like another soggy Saturday in the Seattle area, with forecasters calling for rain and highs near 60, lows in the mid-50s.  Tomorrow could be a little drier (70 percent chance of rain!) but cooler. Details.

Traffic: In case you missed it, THE ALASKAN WAY VIADUCT IS CLOSED and will remain that way for the next nine days. So far, traffic seems to be moving along I-5 and other major routes.

Speaking of the Viaduct: Today is your chance to stroll the roadway while it’s closed.  The three-hour walkabout started at 9:30 a.m. Also, here’s our guide for getting around town while the Viaduct is closed.
