The Morning Memo / Wednesday: Boeing earnings, brrrr (as in cold), liquor chat at noon

Weather: Brrrr. Darn cold this morning.  Temperatures dipped into the high 30s in Western Washington, including Seattle (37). And it’s below freezing in Eastern Washington. Details.

Traffic:  How’s Viadoom treating you? Sluggish in spots, but this is no cararmageddon, right?  Maps and cams.

Liquor initiative chat: We have a live chat today at noon on Initiative 1183 with Times business reporter Melissa Allison. Some info that might help.

Boeing earnings:  Boeing third-quarter profit is up 31 percent. Here’s the skinny. BTW, the Boeing 787’s inaugural flight lands in Hong Kong.
