Arraignment set next Monday in fatal Tukwila crash

A 20-year-old man is scheduled to be arraigned next Monday on charges filed in connection with a fatal rollover crash Nov. 19 in Tukwila.

Tou Hang was charged last week with vehicular homicide and reckless driving. He is being held in the King County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Tou Hang was allegedly driving drunk when he lost control of his 2008 Honda Civic on Highway 599 near Highway 99, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Killed was Terry C. Hang, a passenger in the Civic.

A second passenger, Vong Hang, 24, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Tou Hang suffered minor injuries, the State Patrol said.

Terry Hang was the only one in the Civic not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, according to the State Patrol.
