Bremerton purse snatcher foiled by falling pants

— From The Associated Press:

A man accused of stealing a woman’s bag at the Bremerton ferry terminal last week was caught after his pants fell down as he tried to run away.

A witness who saw him grab the bag said he was running off when his pants fell down and he tripped. The woman reclaimed her bag.

The Kitsap Sun reports the man was then trying to catch a cab Friday when officers picked him up. The 43-year-old Everett man was jailed for investigation of robbery.
