Detectives investigate baby's death near Arlington

There is not points to locate on the map

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an Arlington-area baby who was found unresponsive in his crib Monday afternoon.

At about 3 p.m., deputies were called to the 14000 block of 95th Avenue Northeast to assist medics who responded to a call about an unresponsive 4-month-old boy. Medics took the baby to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, where he was pronounced dead.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the infant’s mother put the boy down to sleep earlier in the day. When she checked on him later he was not breathing, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating the baby’s death because it was unexpected.
