There is not points to locate on the map

An argument over a stolen car stereo ended in the death of a man last night after he was struck by a vehicle near Everett, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, a 31-year-old Renton man, was struck by the man he accused of taking the car stero, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office says the Renton man went to a home in the 100 block of 117th Place Southeast to pick up a car being stored there. When he discovered the stereo missing from the car, he confronted a man he suspected of taking the stereo and an argument ensued.

At some point, the suspected stereo thief attempted to leave in his vehicle, but was blocked by the Renton man, the Sheriff’s Office said. After several attempts to leave, the suspect struck the Renton man with his vehicle and pinned him against another vehicle. The suspect moved his vehicle and the victim fell unconscious to the ground.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect, a 23-year-old Everett man, was detained by sheriff’s deputies.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office’s Collision Investigations Unit are handling the investigation.
