Pedestrian killed last night in Everett

An Everett woman was killed last night when she was struck by a car on Highway 99, the State Patrol said.

The 55-year-old woman was crossing the highway just south of 128th Street Southwest when she was hit by a car just before 10 p.m. The victim, identified as Angela Hernandez, died at the scene, the State Patrol said.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old Everett man, was not cited.
