The Morning Memo/ Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving, turkey how-tos and travel tips

Weather: Beautiful sunrise this morning, but don’t expect to see much more of that sun. The weather forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of rain for turkey day. for more details on the weather ahead, check out The Weather Beat.

Traffic: The map and the cams. Traffic was clear this morning — gotta love a holiday. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport may be a different story. Who knows what this Safeway security guard was thinking, but after he saw a 4-year-old help herself to a bite of fruit from a package at an Everett store, he stopped her for shoplifting, according to this report from the Associated Press and KOMO TV.
