Man, woman shot in Renton early this morning

There is not points to locate on the map

Renton police are investigating a shooting early this morning that left two people wounded.

Just after midnight, police responded to the shooting in the 200 block of Wells Avenue South, where they found the victims. One, a 22-year-old Seattle man, had been shot several times, police said. The second victim, a 22-year-old Renton woman, was shot once.

Police say both victims are expected to survive.

The shooting does not appear to be random and apparently followed some sort of altercation, according to Renton police. The suspects are believed to be two men in their 20s who may have left the scene in an older black BMW.
