2 women stabbed in North Seattle home-invasion robbery

Seattle police say the victims of a home-invasion robbery last night were likely targeted because of drugs.

The robbery happened just before midnight in the 2200 block of Northeast 88th Street.

The two female victims told police that someone knocked on their door, but they refused to open the door. Two other individuals then barged inside through another door that had been left unlocked. The intruders demanded property before assaulting amd stabbing the victims.

The intruders, described as two males and one female, left on foot.

Police said the victims were being treated this morning at a hospital.
