Photos: Cheering students' robot contest
These LEGO bots are built from kits and are programmed by students to run a course and complete tasks. Some 3,000 Washington state students from ages 9 to 14 competed this weekend in regional qualifying tournaments across the state, including at Ballard High School. Winning teams will advance to the state finals in January. More information at www.firstwa.org/Home/tabid/36/default.aspx.
