Photos: Fire Station #21 reopens in Greenwood

Above, Judi Trainor, with her dogs Kahlua and Nova in her back carrier, came to Seattle fire station #21’s open house in Greenwood. About 1,500 people came to visit the remodeled and enlarged facility which serves Pinney Ridge, Green Lake and Greenwood. The 2003 fire levy provided funds for the upgrade of 14 of 32 neighborhood fire stations. Trainor once had to take Kahlua to the station when the god got its nose stuck in a circular bone.
